Love So Deep

"And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:17-19)


Can you imagine a Love like this, that is deeper than the sea, wider than the ocean, greater than any storm?

When it seems the enemy is coming in strong to overtake you, do you remember this Love that overcomes even the most ferocious attacks with ease?

Can you fathom the depths of this Love that consumes our emptiness yet is uncontainable, like trying to fit the ocean in a jar.

Do you understand this Love that surpasses any measurement we have on Earth?

Gaze at the highest mountain top,


search the ocean horizon, peer into the deepest of caverns... can you grasp that His love is greater still? 

I can't... not really, not fully.  But I'm starting to...

Lord, make me continually aware of Your presence today. And Lord grant me the power, being rooted and established in Love, to grasp every day this Love so deep...so that I may be filled to the full measure of You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
